Frequently asked questions
The questions contractors actually ask before they hand over a bid: subscriptions, coverage, pricing, turnaround and references.
Straight answers
If something here is not covered, ask. We would rather tell you it is not a fit than take work we cannot do well.
Yes. You provide your own plan room subscriptions and we do the work inside them on your behalf. We search the boards, filter for projects that match your trade and region, and select the ones worth pursuing. The account stays in your name and you are never paying twice for access.
Both. Subcontractors are a core audience, not an afterthought. We have worked directly with MEP, drywall, framing and roofing contractors. We also support general contractors, whose bids span every trade on the job.
All 50. The service is delivered remotely, because plans, bid boards and submission portals are all online. We have past and current clients in 9 states — Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Texas and New Mexico — and we work wherever you bid.
Yes. We handle federal registration through SAM.gov plus city and state vendor registrations, and we coordinate and furnish the documentation public projects require: bid bonds, performance and payment bond paperwork, insurance certificates and required certifications.
To be precise about our role: we coordinate and furnish documentation. We are not a surety and not an insurance provider.
On your numbers. You give us your overhead and profit, your contingency and the sales tax that applies, and the estimate is built on those. We do not substitute our own rate assumptions. You get full pricing and a complete cost breakdown, and we fill out bid forms where the project requires them.
Turnaround depends on the size and complexity of the scope. Tell us what you are bidding and the due date when you get in touch, and we will confirm whether we can meet it before you commit.
Yes, references are available on request. Ask when you get in touch and we will arrange them. We do not publish client names or project figures on this site.
Pricing depends on the scope, the trade and how much of the process you want covered. Send the quote form with what you bid and we will come back with a scope and a quote.
Tell us what you bid. We will tell you how we would run it.
