Who we are
Apex Estimating & Bid Services has been operating for two years, working with general contractors and subcontractors on everything that happens before a job is won: finding it, measuring it, pricing it and getting the bid in.
We are US-based and work remotely with clients across all 50 states. Our past and current clients are in 9 states: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Texas and New Mexico. We run separate teams by trade type, plus a dedicated marketing team, so estimating and business development run in parallel instead of competing for the same hours.
Our clients include a Texas general contractor we estimate for across 12 trades, and two commercial roofing contractors in New England, all of whom have agreed to be named as references.
How we work
- Day 0
You send the bid
The invite or the drawings, plus your OH&P, contingency and tax rates.
- Day 1
We confirm scope
We lock what is in and out, and flag anything unclear in the drawings before measuring.
- Day 3
You get the numbers
Color-coded markups, the Excel takeoff and, if you want it, the priced estimate.
- Bid day
We can submit it
On request we assemble the package, fill the bid forms and submit before the deadline.
How we hold ourselves
Your numbers, not ours
Every estimate is built on your OH&P, your contingency and the tax that applies. We do not swap in our own assumptions.
Your subscriptions stay yours
You hold the plan room accounts. We work inside them on your behalf, so you never pay twice for access.
We say what we are not
On government work we coordinate and furnish documentation. We are not a surety or an insurance provider, and we will not blur that line.
